ATPI appoints Jeet Sawhney as Managing Director of India operations

ATPI has appointed Jeet Sawhney as the Managing Director of ATPI India.

Sawhney brings nearly 30 years of experience in the travel industry. Over the course of his career, he has held senior roles at KLM/Air France, VFS, where he served as COO – Value Added Services, and Sabre, where he was Regional Director – South Asia. Before joining ATPI, he was the CEO of Tripjack.

Commenting on his appointment, Jeet Sawhney, Managing Director, ATPI India, said he was pleased to join the company at a time when the travel industry is undergoing rapid change. He said ATPI's international network and understanding of local markets give it a strong base to provide technology-led and customer-focused travel solutions.

Sawhney added that ATPI's acquisition by Direct Travel has further strengthened its position and will help the company offer more innovative and sustainable solutions to Indian businesses. He said his focus will be on improving customer experience, using technology effectively and expanding ATPI's presence across India.

Ali Hussain, Regional Managing Director – Asia, ATPI, welcomed Sawhney to the company and said his leadership experience and track record in the travel sector make him well suited to lead the India business.

Hussain added that India is an important growth market for ATPI and expressed confidence that Sawhney's leadership will help the company strengthen its client relationships and create greater value for businesses in the country.
