Ahluwalia had been elevated in May this year; Pandit to take charge soon though date is yet to be announced

Ashish Pandit to replace Samir Ahluwalia as Zee News CEO

According to highly placed sources from the industry, Samir Ahluwalia, CEO, Zee News, is being replaced by Ashish Pandit, who comes in from Digicall Global, where he was Director, Operations. exchange4media was the first to report about Ahluwalia being elevated as CEO, Zee News on May 20, this year. While Pandit is expected to take charge soon, there has been no confirmation on the official date yet.

Pandit, an alumnus of Delhi University comes from a telecom background with more than 26 years of experience. He is a senior professional with experience in healthcare and FMCG as well. He has worked with Tata Teleservices Limited as COO for Rajasthan and Haryana and was responsible for Sales, Product Management, Customer Service and Logistics. He has also held various senior management positions including CEO for Fortis Health World, Head of Operations for Reliance Webworld and Country Manager for Alcatel Mobile Phones, India.

Pandit had been with Digicall Global for three years before joining Zee News.
