Arnab still owns the stage!

The success of Times Now could largely be attributed to Arnab's aggressive ways of conducting himself. His aggression comes from his being forthright; he is bold, he gets into details and has command over the language.  He does not spare anyone and to a large extent has been successfully able to portray the channel as unbiased. His stance especially with politicians is very direct and has not spared anyone who has come for an interview or on News Hour.

This set the stage for a lot of expectation from him as he was to interview Narendra Modi. As soon as the interview got over the debate broke that Arnab was cowed down by Modi and could not get find his aggressive ways with Modi. I don’t agree with this. Arnab is not comfortable when it comes to conducting English - Hindi interview. He is not his real self when the interviewee cannot answer in English. Moreover, Modi was tutored (by looks like Ms Irani) to attack Arnab to tame him down. I was surprised when at some point Modi said " Aap hi ka Channel hai, mere jaane ke baad aap hi bolte rahena. Abhi mujhe bolne do. " Even if Arnab was subdued or did so by his personal choice and not any direction from anywhere,he has been the star and will remain so. Looking forward to his Poll Result Analysis on May 16th. Arnab , stay the way you are !
