Ratan Tata, former Chairman of Tata Group passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 86. 

Tata, renowned for his transformative leadership, steered the Tata Group to new heights with his commitment to excellence, innovation, and ethical business practices. Under his guidance, Tata Group not only expanded its global footprint but also upheld its moral compass, deeply influencing the corporate and philanthropic landscape.

N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons in a statement said, “ His philosophy of humility and his personal engagement in Tata's philanthropic endeavors left a deep-rooted legacy that will inspire generations. Mr. Tata's role as more than a leader—a mentor, guide, and friend whose life's work was a beacon of altruistic pursuit and principled leadership.”

“The entire Tata family, along with countless others whose lives he touched, extends deep condolences to his loved ones.
