Medlife comes up with ‘Know your Doctors’ campaign ahead of Doctor’s Day
The campaign is live on Medlife’s Facebook page and carries infographics and animated videos
Online pharmacy Medlife has launched a campaign called “Know your Doctors” ahead of Doctor’s Day. The campaign aims to create awareness on the difference between various types of doctors and understanding who the right doctor is for different health problems. Medlife hopes to connect doctors and patients in the right manner through the initiative.
The campaign is already live on Medlife’s Facebook page and aims to explain the differences between specialists who have some similarity in their role. Part 1 of the video posted on Medlife’s page shows how many do not know the difference between what different doctors do. The campaign aims to resolve this gap through infographics and animated videos.
Meera Iyer, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Medlife, said, “Medlife’s Doctor’s Day is an important step towards creating awareness among people about doctors and what they do. A lot of people are unaware of the basic differences between various medical specialties. Given the fact that we consult these specialists from time to time, we must also understand their work and perspective. Communication between a doctor and patient is a cornerstone for longlasting trust between them – something that is also the need of the hour in India.”
As part of the campaign, Medlife is requesting people who follow them on social media to convey their appreciation and thanks to their doctors and share their best experiences.
