Discovery’s Rajiv Bakshi joins Intex as CMO
Bakshi will strengthen the Go-To-Market strategy in the Mobile and Consumer Electronics and durables industry and maximize consumer base
Rajiv Bakshi who was earlier with Discovery Networks Asia Pacific has joined Indian mobile and consumer electronics companies, Intex Technologies as Chief Marketing Officer.
He has been entrusted with the job to strengthen the Go-To-Market strategy in mobile and consumer electronics and durables, maximize consumer base and boost valuation. He is also in the process of doubling the distribution footprint via multi-brand General Trade, Large Format Stores (LFR), company Branded Retail across Urban & Rural India.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Bakshi was at Discovery Networks Asia Pacific for more than 13 years. As Vice President & Head Entertainment Products, South Asia spearheaded the strategic development and operational management of the TV networks. He was responsible for building millennial products to leverage the dynamic television consumption trends and rapidly growing digital video entertainment platforms.
In the past, he consulted CXOs on Marketing Communications in auto, FMCG, Internet, financial, media and durable industries.
