Walt Disney has appointed its Chief Technology Officer Jamie Voris to lead its new unit Office of Technology Enablement.
The new unit will work on AI and XR innovations for the company's media and park business.
Voris has been mandated to expand immersive experiences in its films and parks.
According to Reuters, he will lead development of Disney's app for the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality device.
The news agency said Eddie Drake will now be the studio's CTO.
