Tarundeep S Rana moves to Dr Reddy's Laboratories

Tarundeep Singh Rana has joined Dr Reddy’s Laboratories as Director - OTC for Emerging Markets. In this role, he will be spearheading the strategy and brand building initiatives for the OTC business of Dr Reddy’s in emerging markets of Latin America, Australia & New Zealand, ASEAN countries and the African region.

Rana had recently exited his role as Senior General Manager & Head - Marketing at Hamdard Laboratories (India). In this capacity, he was heading the marketing and communications functions for the organisation with a mandate to drive consumer-centric growth for the brands and the business. He is credited with strategic restructuring of Hamdard’s brand portfolio and rejuvenation of the mother brand Hamdard and power brands, including RoohAfza, Safi, Roghan Badam Shirin, Sualin, and Joshina, among others.

Rana brings to the table 15 years of experience in marketing and strategic planning in FMCG and healthcare sectors, having worked with leading FMCG, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies such as Win-Medicare (Revlon Personal Care), Dr Morepen, and Cadila Pharmaceuticals in the past.

He is a pharmacy graduate with post-graduation in Business Management from Department of Management, Kurukshetra University (Kurukshetra).
