Yolande Piazza has joined PayPal as SVP & GM of Americas. She announced her new role on LinkedIn. In her new role, Yolande Piazza will lead the commercial teams across the US, Canada, and LATAM. In her LinkedIn post, she said that along with PayPal, she will also be joining Google Cloud’s Executive Advisory Board.

“I am happy to announce that I am joining PayPal as SVP & GM of Americas where I will lead the commercial teams across the US, Canada, and LATAM. I am extremely excited to join PayPal at such a pivotal moment. Financial Services has been a passion of mine for over thirty years and I am excited to work with the incredible teams at PayPal to help merchants adopt new payment options”, she said in her LinkedIn post.

Yolande brings a wealth of experience and leadership, having most recently served as VP of Financial Services at Google Cloud, where she led teams in delivering innovative cloud and AI solutions for Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to that, she spent most of her career at Citigroup, including as CEO of Citi FinTech, driving digital transformation across banking, wealth management, and open banking. Yolande is an advocate for women in technology; she founded the "Future Women in IT" program, which inspires middle and high school female students to pursue careers in tech, and we are looking forward to all she will contribute to PayPal.
