Porsche AG has announced the appointment of Dr. Michael Leiters as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026. He will take over from Oliver Blume, who has successfully led Porsche AG for the past decade. Blume will continue in his role as CEO of the Volkswagen Group.
Wolfgang Porsche, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porsche AG, said: “Dr. Oliver Blume has shown remarkable leadership during challenging times and has guided Porsche AG with great responsibility and success. Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Group and Porsche AG, added: “After ten fulfilling years at the helm of Porsche AG, I’ve decided to hand over my responsibilities at the end of the year to focus fully on my duties within the Volkswagen Group. It has been a privilege to lead such an exceptional company and work with a talented team. I am confident that Michael Leiters, with his extensive experience in the sports car industry, will continue to drive Porsche’s success. He has my full support and best wishes for the future.”
