Hartosh Singh Bal to join Caravan India as Political Editor

Hartosh Singh Bal is all set to join Caravan India as Political Editor. He will take charge from February 17, 2014. Confirming the news to exchange4media, Bal said, “Yes, I am looking forward to doing good work. The Caravan is a good magazine and they are doing good stuff.”

Announcing Bal’s movement on Twitter, Supriya Nair, Associate Editor, The Caravan tweeted: “Busy day, but best day to announce that @thecaravanindia is welcoming a brand new political editor, the great @HartoshSinghBal. Excited.”

It may be recalled that Bal had quit Open magazine, where he was Political Editor, following a row with the management in November 2013 (Open mag's Hartosh Singh Bal steps down after row with the management).

Bal is the co-author, with Gaurav Suri, of ‘A Certain Ambiguity: A Mathematical Novel’, and ‘Waters Close Over Us: A Journey Along the Narmada’.
