IMA 2024: Diageo India takes home ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ title

The exchange4media Group hosted the 11th edition of Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) at a star-studded ceremony on January 29 in Mumbai. The dazzling awards night brought together the brightest minds and creative talents from the advertising and marketing world who were awarded for their creativity and innovation.

The highest honours of the night were bagged by Diageo India and CK Venkataraman. While Diageo India took home the ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ award, CK Venkataraman, Managing Director, Titan Company Ltd, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award honour.

The Indian Marketing Awards honours organizations, individuals, and teams that have achieved remarkable accomplishments through innovative marketing strategies. The awards night recognised and celebrated the best in the marketing industry and felicitated brands and agencies for their path-breaking works across diverse categories.

Coming to the metal tally, Diageo India took home a total of 10 metals, including 4 golds, 3 silver and 3 bronze metals across categories. The other brands that won the most metals include Tata Consumer Product +Tata Tea Chakra Gold, Britannia, UltraTech, ITC Limited, Abbott and HSBC. The brands that took home the most gold metals include Tata Consumer Product +Tata Tea Chakra Gold with a total of 6 metals including 2 golds, 3 silver and 1 bronze metals while Britannia and UltraTech took home 6 metals including 3 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronze metals, each, respectively.

The IMA jury meet for the 11th edition of the awards was held on January 17. The winners of IMA are chosen from a diverse range of categories that highlight the best in marketing across all industries and sectors. This year, the IMA 2024 jury was chaired by Sudhir Sitapati, Managing Director & CEO, Godrej Consumer Products. The other jury members included industry leaders, seasoned professionals, and renowned personalities from the industry.

IMA has become a benchmark for excellence in the Indian marketing landscape, encouraging healthy competition and inspiring future innovation. As the industry evolves with new trends and technologies, the awards provide a platform to highlight campaigns that have redefined the way brands connect with audiences.
