HUL's Sandeep Verma appointed President Marketing & Sales Bajaj Corp
In his new role, Verma will report into Sumit Malhotra, managing director, Bajaj Corp Ltd, and will oversee sales, marketing, international business divisions
As a part of its “Naya Bajaj” strategy, created to propel it back into stronger growths, Bajaj Corp Ltd has announced the appointments across the core functions sales and marketing. Sandeep Verma has been appointed the President Marketing & Sales.
Verma will drive the overall marketing and sales (both domestic and international) to build a long term growth roadmap for Bajaj Corp’s India and International business.
BCL has also announced the appointments of Ameya Dangi from J&J as the head of marketing and Rajat Ghosh from Britannia as the new head of sales.
In his new role, Verma will report into Sumit Malhotra, managing director, Bajaj Corp Ltd, and will oversee sales, marketing, international business divisions. Ameya and Rajat will report into Sandeep.
Speaking about his new role, Sandeep said, " Bajaj Corp is the market leader in light hair oils and a pioneer in the hair oils category per se through its iconic brands like Almond Drops, Brahmi Amla etc . Post the acquisition of the No Marks brand, the creator of the anti-marks category in India, it is now aiming to becoming a complete FMCG company through a combination of ingrown talent and outside expertise. This is hence a very exciting time for anyone to join this company as it is embarking on this journey that will propel it forward and I am really looking forward to it. “
With over 15 years of experience in the sales and brand management across brands like Sunsilk, Lux, Lifebuoy, Vim etc . Verma joins Bajaj Corp from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) where his last role was that of being a global brand director for the household care category.
Commenting on the appointment, Sumit says, “Sandeep is an experienced FMCG professional with deep insights across the sales and marketing functions.
