Zee Telugu gears up to launch debate show ‘Yudham’

In a bid to spruce up its weekend offerings, Zee Telugu is gearing up to launch a new debate show ‘Yudham’. The show, scheduled to air from February 4, between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm on Sundays, will be hosted by R Shailesh Reddy, Assistant Editor, Zee News. Each show would have minimum three panelists and 30-40 participants.

Elaborating on the new show, Reddy said, “‘Yudham’ is a battle of wits between information seekers and those trying to hide it. As the battle for Samacharam (information) and samadhanam (accountability) begins, every opportunity that comes in its way to extract information will be explored. ‘Yudham’ would provide a perfect platform to debate burning issues which are confronting the contemporary society and seek practical solutions through a panel of experts or those closely working with those issues.”

“Each show would revolve around a topic which would be discussed threadbare. The audience would also be given the opportunity to question the panelists and elicit answers which have been eluding them,” Reddy further said.

The channel is aggressively promoting the new show off-air and on-air.
