Zee Telugu and Zee Kannada all set to welcome the New Year with a host of shows

Zee Telugu and Zee Kannada have lined up exciting fare for its viewers. The celebration at Zee Telugu will start at 7.30 pm on December 31 with the romantic blockbuster ‘Devdaasu’.

The New Year special on Zee Telugu would include exclusive interviews with actresses Trisha and Sandhya. The channel would air ‘Superstartho Super 2007’, a one and half hour event of Platinum disc function of the latest hit ‘Sainikudu’ from 10.30 pm till midnight. The show will also feature a special interview with youth icon Prince Maheshbabu, son of yesteryears superstar Krishna. The event will also have medley composed by Karunya, Sony’s ‘Indian Idol’ runner up.

Meanwhile, Zee Kannada would start its New Year celebrations with the hit movie, Julie. The channel will also have a unique game show hosted by Malavika Avinash. Another programme, ‘Nodi Swami Naav Hittaagode Heege’, would air film clips from the blockbusters of 2006.

The channel has also lined up ‘Saarvabhoumara swarna Gaana’, a musical tribute to late Rajkumar by various playback singers along with interviews with Rajkumar’s co-stars and family members.

At 11.30 pm, the channel would give hold a simple game show for its viewers where no questions would be asked. Viewers could win prizes by just welcoming and wishing all Zee Kannada viewers a Happy New Year.
