Zee South channels undergo managerial revamp; Sanjay Reddy made COO, Zee South

In order to bring greater focus and growth in the South channels of Zee, Sanjay Reddy has been elevated as Chief Operation Officer for the Zee South channels. These channels comprise Zee Telugu, Zee Tamil, Zee Kannada and Zee 24 Gantalu. Prior to this elevation, Reddy has been CEO, Zee Telugu.

Reddy had joined Zee in September 2007 as Business Head of Zee Telugu. Prior to joining Zee Telugu, he was CEO of Pearl Media, which is an arm of Century Communications Ltd, an integrated media and entertainment company. He has worked with media houses, including Walt Disney Company (India) Pvt Ltd, SET India Pvt Ltd and ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd.

Meanwhile, there have been a few other significant movements in the Zee South channels. These include Prem Menon joining as Business Head of Zee Tamil; and J Shekar and Anuradha Gudur being designated as Business Heads of Zee Kannada and Zee Telugu, respectively. The restructuring exercise also saw L Sivananda taking over as Head of South Finance.
