Week 10 ratings: Star Plus rides the 'Satyamev Jayate 2' wave

Week 10 saw Star Plus stem the slide in its viewership, which crossed the 700+ mark, and further consolidate its numero uno position. Life OK and Sab TV also registered gains in Week 10.

As per the viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 10 (March 4-10) of 2014, for CS4+ HSM markets, Star Plus’ viewership climbed to 717 million TVTs, as against gross TVTs of 637 million in Week 8. Season 2 of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ premiered on the channel on March 2, 2014.

Zee TV, which had recorded big gains in Week 9 helping it climb to the No. 2 position, saw a decline in its viewership at 528 million TVTs in Week 10. Last week, the channel had recorded gross viewership of 548 million TVTs.

Colors remained at No. 3 with gross viewership of 435 million TVTs, a decline from 465 million TVTs in Week 9.

Life OK further consolidated its fourth position in Week 10, with gains in its gross viewership at 373 million TVTs, as compared to 341 million TVTs in the previous week.

Sab TV registered a marginal gain in its gross viewership, taking the channel up to the fifth position. The channel recorded viewership of 305 million TVTs in Week 10, as against 303 million TVTs in Week 9.

Sony TV was back at No. 6 after a few weeks of gains. The channel registered gross viewership of 301 million TVTs in Week 10, a marginal decline from 306 million TVTs in Week 9.
