Vijay TV to bring Kollywood with ‘Night Show @ 9.30pm’

Vijay TV, which has been in the forefront for presenting innovative formats shows of various genre in the Tamil television space, has come up with yet another innovation called ‘Night Show @ 9.30pm’. To be premiered on October 29, the new show aims to entertain the audience with news of Kollywood, with interviews, reviews, gossips, audio releases, new releases, etc. To be aired from Monday to Thursday, Vijay TV has lined up four different features on ‘Night Show @ 9.30pm’ for each day.

On Mondays, the show will showcase ‘Arindhadum Ariyadhadhum’ whereby a popular Kollywood star would be interviewed. The first episode of this series will feature the upcoming actor Jeeva, followed by other popular faces of Tamil cinema. On ‘Cinema Kaaram Koffee’ on Tuesdays, three hosts would present all the gossip of Kollywood. ‘Reel Pathi Real Paathi’ on Wednesdays will provide updates on the latest events and news in Kollywood.

Thursdays would feature ‘Madan’s Thirai Paarvai’, wherein film critic Madan would review the new release of the week with interviews of the cast and crew. Every month, a special theme would be chosen, and Madan and other celebrities would voice their opinions on the same. At the end of the month, the film critic will invite popular faces from Kollywood associated with the topic in a grand felicitation function, which will be part of the show’s content. The topic for the first month is ‘Kamal Hassan and his contributions to the film industry’.

The channel has also planned a special viewer contest to identify the biggest fan of Kamal Hassan, and winners will win the chance to meet the star in person.
