#TwitterMeetsArnab: Arnab Goswami in conversation with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo

Times Now brings an exclusive interaction between Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami and Twitter CEO Dick Costolo. On his maiden trip to the country, Costolo joins an exclusive TIMES NOW event with Arnab Goswami, which is scheduled for broadcast on primetime this weekend.

#TwitterMeetsArnab brings together India’s most-watched news anchor and the head of the world’s most talked about company in a free-flowing conversation. With Arnab revealing the one person he’d want to interview and whether he would write a tell-all book, it’s Arnab in a never-seen before avatar. Of course, attempts to have Arnab join Twitter will never cease, and Costolo does his best: “There is a great deal of conversation you motivate on Twitter…! So jump in, people love you.”

Costolo’s visit is an acknowledgement of India’s growing role in driving the global conversation on social media. “India has the world’s youngest demographic,” says Costolo, as he joins Arnab to explain why the country plays a critical role in expanding Twitter.

From trending every night to tackling censorship; from creating path-breaking hashtags to driving business; from setting trends to becoming the most depended upon company, Arnab and Costolo join a group of Indian Twitterati to discuss these issues and, of course, a question that has transcended television to gain iconic status: “What does the nation really want to know?”

TV personality Roshan Abbas, comedian Tanmay Bhat, art writer Sharin Bhatti, BuzzFeed India Editor Rega Jha and public policy analyst Anmol Soin join Arnab and Costolo to get deep into the psyche of social media in India and discuss how the medium is shaping life around the world.
