TV Today elevates Puneet Jain as Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

TV Today Network Limited has elevated Puneet Jain to the position of Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer with effect from February 28, 2017. He will continue to additionally function as Group Chief Law and Compliance Officer. Having been associated with the India Today Group for more than two decades, Jain has lent his expertise to the company in various domains including banking, finance, strategy and legal.

“Dr Jain in his new role will be responsible for all group legal matters and will be interacting on matters of corporate affairs with all stake holders and external authorities including statutory, regulatory and compliance bodies,” TV Today said.

Alongside Jain’s elevation, TV Today also announced the appointment of Ashish Sabharwal as Company Secretary. Sabharwal is a senior corporate professional with 17 years of experience. He has worked in the areas of company law and company restructuring, among other roles.

He was previously employed with graphite electrode manufacturer HEG Ltd. as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. His appointment will be effective from March 1. Both the decisions were arrived at a meeting of the board of directors held in New Delhi on February 9.
