The Social Street to handle marketing tie-ups & brand alliances in Dubai for ‘Ki and Ka’ shoot

Supported by the Dubai TV and Film Commisssion and partners Emaar Properties the crew of HOPE Productions film ‘Ki and Ka’ shot in iconic locations like The Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar and The Boulevard.  The Downtown Palace Dubai and Manzil Downtown were partners and hosts to the cast and crew of the film. While the production requirements were over seen, all marketing tie-ups and brand alliances in Dubai were handled by The Social Street through their local partners.

The film’s Director, R Balki said, “I am ecstatic about the support extended by the Dubai Film and TV Commission, Emaar Properties and The Palace Downtown Dubai Hotel. It’s been a dream experience for us to be filming in Dubai. Thanks to the amazing support we have received from all quarters. Line Production support by Icon Art Production has been truly out of this world and Brand support by Event Brokers DMCC has been truly heartwarming. And the first time the whole shoot has been managed by The Social Street headed by Pamita that has pulled off a very intricate schedule at very short notice.

He went on to add, “Overall, Dubai is the dream destination for filming. With all its diverse locations, the entire Emirate provides an open-air stage to film in, which any filmmaker aspires to have. Dubai has state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced production facilities that is found in world class cities.”

Pratap Bose Chairman and Founding Partner  of The Social Street commented, ''We are very happy to be associated with HOPE Productions and R Balki. I am confident that Pamita Seth and her Branded Content team at The Social Street have successfully collaborated for brand and marketing alliances for ‘Ki and Ka’ in Dubai and opened up avenues in the over seas market as well.”

Commenting of their experience working in Dubai with various partners, Pamita Seth, Managing Partner at The Social Street stated, “Dubai is one of the key markets for Bollywood, multiple projects are being shot in UAE. Rightly so as the kind of support and infrastructure that Dubai offers along with beautiful locations there is no need to go far from home for an international shoot. This is our second project this year, we were here earlier for the promotions of “Shamitabh” campaign being “The Hunt for the voice of Shamitabh – Amitabh Bachchan” which was hosted by the Ritz Carlton DIFC and Premier Productions. Now that we have established our love for Dubai, hopefully we will be back with another interesting idea, shoot or activation soon. We are very grateful to HOPE Productions R Balki and Anil Naidu for believing in us once again and giving us this opportunity to overlook the film’s shoot and all marketing alliances in Dubai. Special thanks to Icon Art Production who realy made it happen for us and our other partners Event Brokers, Emax & Lama for associating with us in such short notice. This trip has unfolded newer business opportunities in the International markets and has helped us redefine services that we can offer to a production house. Over all its been an incredible journey.”

The team of HOPE Productions shot the last schedule of their movie ‘Ki and Ka’ in Dubai. The film, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, is directed by R Balki. The film is slated to release next year.
