Tarun Katial handed additional responsibilities at ZEEL

Tarun Katial, CEO of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL), has taken up additional responsibilities at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) that include TV and digital content production.

Speaking to exchange4media, Katial said, “My new responsibilities will include creating original content for Zee’s new digital platforms as well as TV content production.” Reports indicate that he will look after new TV content at Essel Vision Productions Limited (EVPL).

Apart from these responsibilities, Katial will continue to lead RBNL as its CEO. RBNL operates the TV channels Big Ganga and Big Magic and the private FM radio station Big FM.

ZEEL had announced the acquisition of the general entertainment business of RBNL earlier this year.
