TAM says Zee at No. 3, BARC says Life OK at No. 3 in current week

Much awaited first round of data from BARC was released on Wednesday, however BARC has only released the household data between 18th April to 24th April, 2015 (1L+ C&S HHs – Empanelled – 12,000, Reporting - 10,760 households (1L+ C&S).

TAM has released household as well as individual data for the period between April 19th to April 25, 2015 (CS HHLD GRPs(Household).

We compare the household data released by TAM and BARC both for the same period.

According to data sourced from BARC subscribers for Hindi GECs, Star Plus leads with 490 GRPs. As per TAM, in household data, Star Plus scored 549 GRPs.

BARC data says Colors is at No. 2 with 438 GRPs. TAM data places Colors at the same second spot, however with 471 GRPs.

The pecking order changes at No. 3 and No. 4 spots.

Life OK has moved up to No.3 in BARC ratings with 363 GRPs, but according to TAM data, Zee TV is at No. 3 with 368 GRPs.

BARC data places Zee TV at No.4 with 308 GRPs, while TAM data says Life OK is at No. 4 spot with 314 GRPs.

According to BARC, Sab TV is at No.5 with 259 GRPs. TAM data says Sab TV is at No. 5 spot with 278 GRPs.

Sony TV is at No. 6 with 234 GRPs in BARC data, and as per TAM data, at the sixth position, it has 247 GRPs.

&TV has 107 GRPs in BARC data while it has 119 GRPs in TAM data.
