TAM Ratings: Star Plus, Colors maintain leadership, gain ground in week 44

Star Plus continues to grow its leadership in the Hindi GEC space according to the latest week of TAM ratings. Most of the other top Hindi GEC channels saw a rise in ratings during week 44.

In week 44 (October 25 – 31, 2015) Hindi GEC HSM without LC1 CS 4+ TAM data, Star Plus at No.1 spot saw its ratings rise to 239 GRPs from 222 GRPs in week 43. In terms of GVTs the ratings rose to 387 million GVTs this week from 358 million GVTs last week.

Colors at No.2 spot too saw a large growth as its ratings increased to 221 GRPs this week from 210 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs the ratings rose to 357 million GVTs in week 44 from 340 million GVTs in week 43.

Zee TV at No.3 spot saw its ratings grow to 153 GRPs this week from 142 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs the ratings of the channel had increased to 247 million GVTs this week from 230 million GVTs last week.

Sab TV too saw its ratings grow this week to 137 GRPs from 130 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs the ratings increased to 221 million GVTs from 210 million GVTs last week.

Life Ok saw a marginal dip in its ratings this week as it declined to 124 GRPs in week 44 from 125 GRPs in week 43. In terms of GVTs the ratings dipped to 200 million GVTs from 201 million GVTs last week.

Sony TV saw a marginal increase in ratings this week to 108 GRPs in week 44 from 105 GRPs in week 43. In terms of GVTs the ratings of the channel rose similarly to 174 million GVTs this week from 170 million GVTs last week.
