TAM Ratings: Colors captures No.1 position yet again in Week 45

Colors has captured the No.1 spot from Star Plus for the third time in 2015, which was earlier seen in Week 38 and Week 41. It witnessed the highest growth of 16 GRPs followed by Life OK with 11 GRPs in Hindi GEC genre according to Analysis conducted by S-Group, an Analytical arm of TAM Media Research.

The growth of Colors was driven by the new Serial launch "Naagin" & Sunday."Naagin" aired on Saturday & Sunday for 1 hr at 8 pm. Last week "Balika Vadhu" & "Udaan" Saturday prime time shows were replaced by "Naagin".

Along with Naagin, Sunday witnessed a good push post 12:30. Event show "Suron Ke Rang Colors Ke Sang" aired in afternoon with good viewership in "Comedy Nights With Kapil".

Bajrangi Bhaijaan which aired on Sunday 1st Nov, garnered 1.82 TVR which helped Life OK to record growth in 13:00 to 16:30 daypart.

Star Plus launched a news comedy  show "On Air With AIB" on Sunday,1st Nov which aired at 10pm.

Though the show received a modest rating of 0.24 TVR% it was well received by 25+ age group, Males & SEC AB segments which can be well judged based on the show format and online popularity.  

Zee TV launched a new serial "Kaala Teeka" at 7 pm slot Mon to Fri replacing "Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi". The show has witnessed positive welcome in the launch week with growth in Reach as well content engagement. It received the launch rating of 1.67 GRPs-38% more than previous week.
