Sun TV Network has recorded a 13.10 per cent growth in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012 at Rs 189.88 crore as compared to Rs 167.88 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
Q3 FY13 revenues were up 14.29 per cent at Rs 485.86 crore as against Rs 425.11 crore in Q3 FY12. Advertisement revenues registered a 20 per cent jump to Rs 290 crore in Q3 FY13, as compared to Rs 244.23 crore during the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
EBITDA up 10.32 per cent at Rs 376.34 crore in comparison to Rs 341.13 crore
Total income for Q3 posted a growth of 10.73 per cent at Rs 496.41 crore as against Rs 448.32 crore
Against the total projected utilization of Rs 572 crore from the IPO funds, an amount of Rs 355.77 crore has been utilized towards capitalization of subsidiaries; Rs 133.84 crore towards launch of new channels and purchase of new equipment and upgradation of existing equipment, and Rs 62.34 crore towards construction of owned corporate office.
