STAR One’s countdown show ‘Ek Se Badhkar Ek’ premieres tonight

Close on the heels of announcing its new show, ‘Antakshari’, STAR One is now ready with with a countdown show, ‘Idea Ek Se Badhkar Ek’, which premieres on December 30 at 8 pm.. Hosted by Manoj Bohra and Tina Parakh, the show will be a mix of celebrity interviews, graphics, special effects and audio-visual montages.

Paritosh Joshi, Head-Advertising, Sales and Distribution, STAR India, said, “It is an advertising-funded programme and will have a great amount of interactivity in each episode. Viewers will get a chance to win prizes as well. We are thrilled to be associated with a young brand like Idea and hope to reach out to our audiences like we have done in the past.”

Pradeep Shrivastava, CMO, Idea, said, “We are delighted to be associated with a youth channel. At Idea, we have always looked at opportunities to connect with our consumers, one-on-one. Our products target the youth and there is a synergy in this with STAR One.”

Some of the categories on this countdown show will include the top 10 action heroes, item numbers, ‘dhinchak’ dancers, double roles, love triangles, makeovers, horror films, patriotic films, rain songs, comedians, singing stars as well as sizzling singles.
