Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai top TAM ratings in week 17

TV serials Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have scored the maximum viewership ratings among the top Hindi GEC shows in week 17 (April 19 – 25, 2015).

According to the data provided by TAM for week 17, amongst the top 5 shows of Hindi GECs for HSM CS4+ markets, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have gained the highest ratings of 3.7 TVRs. Both the shows are aired on Star Plus. While Saath Nibhaana Saathiya gained these ratings on April 24, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai gained the same ratings on April 21.

Star Plus’ ratings for week 17 saw a rise in individual ratings of TAM to 227 GRPs from 261 GRPs in week 16. However, in the household data, it declined to 549 GRPs in week 17 from 634 GRPs in week 16.

Another Star Plus show that came in next as the most viewed show was Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that gained ratings of 3.6 TVR on April 24. Similarly, another show that gained 3.6 TVR in week 17 was Kumkum Bhagya, which is aired on Zee TV on April 24.

According to the TAM data, Zee TV was in No. 3 spot and saw its ratings fall to 161 GRPs from 172 GRPs in week 16 in terms of individual ratings.

In household ratings, Zee TV declined to 368 GRPs in week 17 from 399 GRPs in week 16.

Colors’ show India’s Got Talent stood fifth with a gain of 3.4 TVRs. The show gained the highest on April 19. Colors had seen a nominal dip to 202 GRPs in week 17 from 204 GRPs in week 16 in terms of individual data and 471 GRPs in week 17 from 484 GRPs in week 16 in terms of household data.
