Pragya TV counts on spiritual reality shows to score on TRP chart

Pragya TV has started two new reality shows ‘Ehsaas’ and ‘B+’ to score on the TRP chart. The shows are reality based, but with a little addition of spirituality. While ‘Ehsaas’ is based on confessions of convicts, ‘B+’ would have celebrities sans the luxurious facilities that they enjoy in their lives.

According to Pragyan Bhattacharya, Programming Head, Pragya TV, “‘Ehsaas’ is a show about the confessions of convicts and undertrials. It is also about their repentance. Most channels are showing crime shows, but we have decided to go beyond it and show about their life in jail and what they feel after they realise their guilt.”

The show is aired every Saturday and Sunday from 10.30-11 pm and is directed by Rishi Kumar and Sushil Kumar.

‘B+’ would show eight celebrity participants who have to score points by performing different spiritual tasks away from the environment of their otherwise luxurious lives. The participants would be divided into two teams and would have to do things like serving food in restaurants, cooking their own meals and taking spiritual lessons without facilities like air conditioners, etc.

The show would be aired on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-9.30 pm and has been directed by Riyaz Nazish.
