NewsX to be available on Tata Sky from April 14

NewsX, the English news channel from INX News Pvt Ltd, which was soft-launched on March 27, 2008, will soon be available on DTH too. Starting April 14, NewsX would be available on Tata Sky.

With a strong emphasis on the best of technology, NewsX, claimed to be India’s first HDTV-ready news channel, is the first news channel in the Asia Pacific region to use high definition cameras on the road, offering better looking footage with sharper image quality. MPEG-4 (instead of the conventional MPEG-2) encoding gets the picture directly to the viewer at the highest speed in the shortest time.
