Shemaroo Entertainment appoints Hiren Gada as the new CEO

Shemaroo Entertainment, the television and digital content conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Hiren Gada as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in addition to his existing role as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

With nearly 19 years of work experience, 12 of which have been in the Media and Entertainment industry, Gada has been the CFO of Shemaroo Entertainment since May 2014 and the company’s Whole Time Director since May 2008. He has played a significant role in the transforming the company from a family run business to a professionally driven organization.

Shemaroo’s board of directors have also re-assigned Kranti Gada to the post of Chief Operating Officer from that of Senior Vice President- New Business Development. Kranti joined the family business in 2006 after working in marketing at Pepsi Co. She soon got involved in setting up the company's mobile business and established the company as a leading Mobile VAS player of the country. More recently she was responsible for the company's expansion into the DTH segment. In her new role, Kranti will head the revenue function of the company to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
