Media Lounge acquires Origin Beanstalk Creative Consultants

The newly set up full-service media company, Media Lounge has announced the acquisition of Mumbai-based creative consultancy Origin Beanstalk Creative Consultants. With this new merger, Origin Beanstalk becomes one of the key brands to join the rooster of Media Lounge, which is in the process of acquiring other specialist agencies across various verticals in a span of three months.

Origin Beanstalk was set up 10 years ago by Shom Mazumdar and Upendra Singh Thakur. The Agency currently has a55-member team, which handles some high profile clients such as BASF, Edelweiss, RadioCity, Jupiter Hospital, Mid-Day, Manchester United Café Bar and The United Sports Bar, China Gate Group of Restaurants, Rajesh Lifespaces, Sunteck Realty, VKL Seasoning, Ace Agro, Myitreturn.com, Princeware, Gulshan Polyols, Pepe India, Nannies Goat Milk, Welbound, Warmee, Four Points by Sheraton, Swamp Soccer India, High Ground Entertainment, amongst others.

Origin Beanstalk, provides complete above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) brand communication solutions, high-end graphics and design solutions, film, graphics & animation and strategic & creative digital solutions to a number of medium and large Indian corporates and multi-nationals.

Upendra Singh Thakur, Co-Founder Origin Beanstalk, further added, “As per the normal standards of the industry, it takes about a decade for any agency to mature and get over its teething problems to create sustainable processes and develop industry expertise. Media Lounge which has been in newsrecently for starting the Films and Entertainment vertical has been co-founded by Manajit Ghoshal and Amardeep Vig, the owner of Ronak Advertising, an  INS accredited specialist media house.
