Jury meet for the 8th edition of ENBA held in Gurgaon

The eighth edition of the exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) 2015 entered the final stage with the distinguished Jury meeting on February 3 in Gurgaon. The Awards will be given away at a glittering ceremony on February 13.

The Jury meet forms the final phase of the judging process. The first phase took place online in January 2016, where the best entries were shortlisted.

Sharing his thoughts about the judging process and nominations, N Ram, Chairman, Kasturi & Sons Ltd said, “It’s clear from judging that plenty is happening in the television news broadcasting scene. Of course, it is a mixed picture, some of us feel there is too much shouting, too much artificiality and contrivance, but at the same time there is lot of good coverage as well. I am impressed with the young talent, particularly women. There were some disappointments, some gaps but overall a very energetic scene. The jury has put a lot of effort and they came from a diverse background with rich experience and overall it was a very rewarding day for all of us.”
