ICC World Cup T20 India v/s Pakistan match becomes highest rated programme in the history of BARC

In week 12 (19-25 March, 2016) of BARC data, ICC World Cup T20 India 2016 Live - India v/s Pakistan match became the highest rated programme in the history of BARC till date. Also, the India v/s Bangladesh match delivered very high ratings.

ICC World Cup T20 India 2016 Live - India v/s Pakistan match became the highest rated programme in the history of BARC till date and gave the Saturday, the 20:20 - 23:21 slot on Star Sports, Star Sports 3 and DD National the highest ratings. Star Sports garnered 23, 613 ratings in week 12 compared to 1,140 in week 11. Whereas, Star Sports 3 had 30, 173 ratings in week 12 which were 428 in week 11. DD National fetched 26,725 ratings in week 12 as compared to 1,359 in week 11.

Also, the India v/s Bangladesh match delivered pretty high ratings in week 12 for Wednesday ;19:20 - 23:21 slot for the channels. Star Sports garnered 20,252 ratings in week 12 which were 5,004 in week 11. Star Sports 3 garnered 22,866 ratings in week 12 which were 7,108 in week 11. DD National fetched 24,605 ratings as compared to 1,812 ratings in week 11.

ICC Women's World T20 India 2016 Live - India v/s Pakistan took the Saturday; 15:20 - 18:16 slot of Star Sports 2 up by more than 2 times. The ratings of the slot went up to 2194 in week 12 from 891 in week 11.

World Television Premiere of ‘Dilwale’ took the Sunday: 19:59 – 23:25 slot up by more than 2 times. The channel garnered 6760 ratings in week 11 which were 2676 in week 12.

Among the Hindi GECs, Star Plus stood at no. 1, Colors stood at no.2 and Zee TV at no. 3. Holi special programmes on Thursday on SAB, & TV, Life Ok, Zee and Colors drove viewership for the genre.
