Fox International launches 7 channels in India

Fox International Channels has launched seven new channels in India – FX, NGC HD, NG Wild, Fox Crime, NG Adventure, NG Music and Baby TV. The channels will be available across the country on multiple platforms like DTH, Digital and Analog Cable. Taproot is the creative agency, while GroupM is the media agency for all the seven channels.

While NG Wild and NG Adventure are available on Sun Direct DTH, FX and Fox Crime are available on Sun Direct DTH and Tata Sky. NG Music and Baby TV will be available on DTH soon. NGC HD is available on all HD DTH platforms such as Dish Tru HD, Tata Sky, Big TV, Airtel Digital TV and Sun Direct.

Commenting on the development, Keertan Adyanthaya, Managing Director, Fox International Channels India, said, “As part of Fox International Channels, India, we believe that introducing channels like FX, Fox Crime, Baby TV, NG Adventure, NG HD, NG Wild and NG Music on the DTH platform will give us the opportunity to reach out to a wider audience base and keep our viewers enthralled by compelling content ranging from crime to comedy, from adventure to music and from fiction to factual shows.”

Fox International Channels (FIC) is a subsidiary of the Fox Entertainment Group, which is part of Rupert Murdoch’s global media conglomerate News Corporation. FIC produces and distributes entertainment, factual, sports, and movie channels for television through distribution platforms in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa using several brands, including Fox, FX, Fox Crime, Fox Life, National Geographic Channel and Baby TV.
