Doordarshan lines up live sports bonanza from today

Doordarshan has lined up a sports bonanza for viewers in the form of live coverages of national and international events in rowing, badminton, squash and cricket, starting with the live telecast of the 11th Asian Rowing Championship from October 19.

The Asian Rowing Championship will be telecast live by DD Sports from Hyderabad between October 19 and 22. On October 23, viewers will have the deferred live telecast of the championship. Doordarshan will be bringing live coverage of the Asian Satellite Badminton Championship from Delhi on October 22 and 23 on its sports channel.

Doordarshan is also covering the three-day Sub Junior/Junior National Squash Championship taking place in Chennai from October 23 to October 25. Viewers can watch the event live on DD Sports channel. In addition to these events, Doordarshan will also be covering live the one-day cricket match between Sri Lanka and MCA, which will be played in Mumbai on October 22.
