Colors retains top spot in urban markets; Zee Anmol leads rural markets in week 46

According to BARC data for week 46 (12-18 November, 2016), Colors continued to lead the chart in urban markets with improved impressions. Star Plus  and Sony Entertainment Television held on to their respective second and third spots. As far as the rural markets are concerned, Zee Anmol acquired the top spot pushing Sony Pal to the second spot. Star Utsav stayed at no.3. And, Big Magic stepped up a spot to no.8 whereas, Life OK slipped two spots to no.10.

Urban Ratings:

Colors continued to lead the chart in urban markets with improved impressions of 442 million that were 433 million in the previous week.

Star Plus remained at no.2 with 422 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 422 million.

Sony Entertainment Television stayed at no.3 with 277 million ratings, less than previous week’s 287 million.

At no.4 stood Zee TV with 276 million ratings, the channel had 253 million ratings in the previous week.

Sony SAB, at no.5, fetched 265 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 252 million.

Life OK garnered 235 million ratings, less than previous week’s 238 million.

&TV stayed at no.7 with 143 million ratings, less than previous week’s 144 million.

Sony Pal remained at no.8 with 120 million ratings, less than previous week’s 127 million ratings.

Zee Anmol and Star Utsav held on to the respective spots of no.9 and no.10 like week 45 with improved ratings of 105 million and 99 million.

Rural Ratings:

Zee Anmol acquired the top spot in week 46 with 348 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 331 million.

Sony Pal slipped a spot to no.2 in week 46 with 331 million ratings, less than previous week’s 343 million.

Star Utsav with improved ratings of 324 million than previous week’s 305 million held on to the third spot.

Rishtey remained at no.4 with 254 million ratings, less than previous week’s 290 million.

Colors with 209 million ratings, less than previous week’s 207 million stayed at no.5.

Star Plus garnered 204 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 196 million ratings and remained at no.6.

Zee TV stood at no.7 with 191 million ratings, less than previous week’s 182 million.

Big Magic stepped up a spot to no.8 in week 46 with 156 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 124 million.

Sony Entertainment Television also climbed a spot up to no.9 with 130 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 121 million.

Life OK slipped two spots to no.10 with 128 million, less than previous week’s 137 million.
