CK Harish Kumar elevated as COO of Public TV

Public TV has promoted CK Harish Kumar to the role of COO. He had joined the company in 2012 as Vice President – Sales and Marketing.

As COO, he will be responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives, strategy planning, and spearheading the channel’s teams pan India. He will pave the roadmap to the overall business, said an official release.

HR Ranganath, Chairman and Managing Director, Public TV said, “Harish has been the force behind Public TV that has made it one of the most influential and emerging news channels in Karnataka.”

Kumar comes with rich experience in developing news channels and has good understanding of the regional and national market.

Speaking on his elevation, Kumar said, “This is a great opportunity and I will work towards delivering the objectives of the management. On the marketing front, we will strive to capture the mood of the advertiser and expand the company’s geographic reach.”

Kumar has over two decades of experience working with major media brands such as Suvarna News, Deccan Herald, Prajavani, ABP Group, The Telegraph, Navabharat and Getit Yellow Pages.
