My weekends are a fusion of adventure and travelling- Arati Singh, Channel Head, NDTV Good Times

Arati Singh, Channel Head, NDTV Good Times, might have the busiest weekdays but she makes sure her weekends are the most relaxing ones. Coffee, travelling, Yoga is her way of chilling out on weekends.

In this weekend's chill-out section, she opens up on how she loves to go on adventurous trips and how efficiently she uses her time to maintain balance between work and personal life.

How do you maintain an active work-life balance?

The first rule is to work hard and with concentration during working hours and switching off after that. Unless there is a crisis, I don’t check mail post work hours. I make a plan at the beginning of the week on what I need to achieve and usually take stock at the end if all tasks have been completed. I also try to use time while travelling on flights and in cars efficiently.

On a typical weekend you will find me…

Either I am travelling or I go paragliding. If I am in Mumbai then I make sure I visit the farmers market. Another thing which I love to do on a typical weekend of mine is yoga.
