BBC World now available on Tata Sky

BBC’s 24-hour international news and information channel is now available on Tata Sky, the satellite television service from the Tata Group and STAR.

Gerry Ritchie, Regional Director of Distribution and Business Development, Europe, Middle-East and South Asia for BBC World, said, “We are very excited about our new association with Tata Sky. At a time, when India is witnessing rapid growth and change in the television and entertainment industry, Tata Sky provides us with an ideal platform to reach our target viewer with an interest in international news and events. This new agreement with Tata Sky will introduce BBC World to new viewers and increase the channel’s audience reach.”
