BARC Ratings: Zee Anmol becomes the No.1 channel in week 49

In week 49(December 05- 11, 2015) of the BARC ratings for the Hindi GEC genre, Zee Anmol has replaced last week’s  Star Plus to be the no.1 Hindi GEC channel in week 49. Star Plus slipped down to No.2 followed by Colors. Zee TV continued to be No.4 in week 49 and Star Utsav stood at No.5.

With significant rise in Zee Anmol’s ratings from 756 million last week to 779 million this week, the channel took a leap from the third spot to the No.1 spot this week replacing Star Plus.

Star Plus on the other hand, slipped down to the second spot with since its saw a decline in ratings from 796 million to 751 million this week.

Colors too came down one spot from last week’s No.2 to No.3 this week. The channel witnessed a decline in ratings from 763 million to 746 million in week 49.

No change in the acquisition of the fourth spot was seen as Zee TV held on to the spot with 718 million ratings which was higher than last week’s 677 million.

Star Utsav remained at No.5 with 568 million ratings, higher than last week’s 561 million.

The next three spots were acquired by Life OK, Sony and Sony SAB with 474 million, 429 million and 356 million ratings respectively.

Rishtey and Sony Pal acquired were placed at No.9 and No.10 with 305 million and 302 million ratings respectively.
