Anjana Om Kashyap replaces Karan Thapar as presenter of To The Point

Aaj Tak’s popular Hindi anchor Anjana Om Kashyap will be replacing Karan Thapar on India Today Television. At this stage, exchange4media can confirm that Kashyap will present ‘To The Point’, which was earlier anchored by Thapar. The show airs from 7pm to 8pm from Monday to Friday.

Incidentally, while Kashyap is already on the payroll of India Today Group, TV Today earlier had to make payments to Infotainment Television Private Limited (ITV), Thapar’s production house, to keep the show rolling. Earlier today, exchange4media reported that Thapar will no longer be seen on India Today Television. The veteran anchor presented his last show for TV Today on April 14.

A product of Delhi University’s Delhi School of Social Work, Kashyap forayed into journalism after a brief career in social work. Kashyap, also a recipient of a diploma in journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia, has previously worked with Zee News and News 24.
