MPG India beefs up senior level; ropes in Hema Ravikumar and Ronak Motta in key roles

In a bid to consolidate its resource tank, MPG India has made senior level appointments. Hema Ravikumar joins MPG-South as Vice-President, while Ronak Motta has been appointed as General Manager of Havas Entertainment.

Talking of the appointments, Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media in India, said, “We at Havas Media are happy to have both Hema and Ronak as part of our team. South lacked leadership and Hema will do complete justice to that role in taking MPG South on the growth path. Ronak will lead the Entertainment discipline for the group. With his experience, expertise, contacts and the knack for making entertainment relevant to clients’ businesses, he is sure to grow Havas Entertainment at an interesting pace.”

Ravikumar moves from Mindshare after spending a decade over there. Taking the driving seat at MPG South, she had been keen to see life and opportunity outside Mindshare and decided to join MPG to exercise her talent to the optimal.

Motta has spent considerable number of years to gain expertise in the field of entertainment. He said, “The entertainment marketing arena has always been exciting and is entering a very exciting phase in its evolution. I look forward to making Havas Entertainment one of India’s leading specialist entertainment agencies, continuing to delight brands through an offering that is wholesome, refreshing and engaging.”
