STAR India and NDTV Group have signed an agreement for the ad sales function of the NDTV news channels – NDTV India, NDTV 24x7 and NDTV Profit. It is understood that a five-year agreement has been signed, which can be extended based on mutual agreement. This is effective immediately.
Aidem Ventures has appointed M Suku as Executive Vice President, reflecting the company’s expansion into new emerging media, markets and verticals. Prior to this appointment, Suku was with Reliance ADA Group, where he was the Head of Media & Alliances.
NDTV Ltd and NDTV Media Ltd, headed by Raj Nayak, are entering into a fresh arrangement that is beneficial to both organisations. Nayak and his team are setting up a separate new media company, called AIDEM Ventures Pvt Ltd. Under the new arrangement, NDTV will save substantially on costs and will have greater control of its sales operations while working very closely with Nayak’s new organisation.
After being with NDTV Media since its inception, Avinash Kaul has decided to move on from the company. While Kaul could not be contacted at the time of filing the story, it is understood that his next destination is Sahara One, where he would be heading the broadcasting side of the business.
