EDO, Italy’s lifestyle mag comes to India with G2

Italy is coming to India via Gujarat! EDO, the high-end luxury magazine from Italy has joined hands with G2, The Global Gujarati for its India debut. It will now be distributed along with G2. Cymbal Media, the magazine division of Lokmat Group is proud to announce the launch of this high-end lifestyle magazine from the couture city, Milan.

“It is a matter of great pride that EDO approached us. This is an endorsement of our efforts to promote quality luxe content through niche publications,” said Devendra Darda, Publisher of G2 The Global Gujarati and Executive Director of Lokmat Group.

The second anniversary issue of G2 met with accolades and affection at the Vibrant Gujarat Investors Summit, held in Ahmedabad. “Visitors from all over the world interacted with me and appreciated the production quality, visual appeal and content of the magazine,” said Pritti Kumar, Editor, G2 The Global Gujarati.

G2 magazine is a high-end luxury magazine in English, from Cymbal Media, the magazine division of The Lokmat Group. The first magazine G2 The Global Gujarati was launched in December 2006. It is distributed in several international markets. It covers the Gujarati and Parsi Communities. It covers their style, fashion, history, cuisine, and a mosaic of other subjects.

Lokmat group is one of the leading media companies in India. It publishes newspapers in three languages- English, Hindi and Marathi. Its flagship daily, Lokmat is the fourth-largest read daily in the country with over ten million readers and is the No.1 daily in Maharashtra. The group’s circulation is over 1.5 million copies every day. Its core purpose is to create, collect and disseminate high-quality news, information and entertainment content. Lokmat Group also runs a 24-hour news and current affairs channel, IBN Lokmat, in JV with the Network18 Group.
