Ogilvy India has won the Lenovo India business following a multi-agency pitch that included several leading names in the business. The win was a combined effort between Ogilvy’s Mumbai office and its global hub in Bangalore, which already handles global assignments for Lenovo.
The One Club announced the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil winners at the 36th annual One Show and One Show Design. From India, McCann Worldgroup and Contract Advertising bagged a Silver each at One Show, while TBWA/India and Ogilvy India bagged Silvers in One Show Design.

Following the win of the ITC business, Madison Media has now added the media duties of Pidilite Industries Ltd to its kitty. The win includes the complete portfolio business of Pidilite. There was no multi-agency pitch involved. The account size is pegged at Rs 50 crore. Mediaedge:cia (MEC) was the incumbent agency.
The 25th London International Awards judging was held at the Wynn/ Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, convening over a 10-day period. This year, six agencies from India have been recognised for their superior entries – McCann Worldgroup, Leo Burnett India, Ogilvy India, Bates 141, Creativeland Asia and Rediffusion Y&R – winning a total of seven statues at the 2010 London International Awards.
IPL3 has been witnessing various marketing activities around it. Joining this bandwagon were Hindustan Times and Mid-Day, which brought out no less than eight full page ads on their front page, denoting the eight IPL teams for their editions on March 12, 2010, the day the tournament kicked off. The entire mass level print activity for HT was conceptualised by Maxus, while Ogilvy India is the creative agency for the print campaign.
