In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, Aircel has realigned its media business. Mudra Max is the new agency added to the roster, handling print and radio. Starcom now handles television & digital. The estimated account size of the business is in the vicinity of Rs 180 crore.

IDBI Bank has decided to retain Ogilvy & Mather for its creative duties. It may be recalled that a creative and media pitch was floated by IDBI in March 2011, following which Maxus was retained as the media AOR in July 2011, while Mudra Max was assigned the outdoor duties. According to industry sources, the overall marketing spends is pegged at Rs 50-75 crore.
Mudra Max has appointed Subhashish Sarkar as Senior Vice President for its outdoor division. He will be heading Mudra Max OOH, North & East, and will report directly to Mandeep Malhotra, President, Mudra Max-OOH. Prior to this appointment, Sarkar was with Percept as Business Director (North & East).
