Sakshi announces holiday bonanza for ad agencies in AP

Thirty-five ad agencies of Andhra Pradesh are in for a surprise holiday bonanza thanks largely to Telugu daily Sakshi. These are the agencies that have done a net paid billing average of Rs 7 million or more with Sakshi in the first financial year of 2008-09 after its launch. One member from each of these 35 agencies will enjoy an all-paid holiday of five days and four nights in Thailand later this month. P Sridhar, General Manager – Advertising, Sakshi, will lead this group.

KRP Reddy, Director – Marketing, Sakshi informed that of these 35 agencies, 12 were from Hyderabad, five from Visakhapatnam, three from Vijayawada, two from Tirupati and remaining 13 had been drawn in from other major districts of Andhra Pradesh. “Never before in AP have regional advertising agencies been treated to such a bonanza. We are glad that we are creating new benchmark in customer relationship by encouraging agencies to do even better,” claimed Reddy.

Sakshi had made quite a splash by launching simultaneous 23 city editions in March 2008. All these 23 centers have all-colour page editions. Nineteen of these editions are located in Andhra Pradesh, while the rest are present in metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. The newspaper has been designed by internationally acclaimed newspaper design legend Mario Garcia.
