Breeze Advertising beefs up top management

Hyderbad-based Breeze Advertising has beefed up its top management team by inducting Ratnakar Rao, a veteran advertising professional with more than three decades of experience in advertising and brand management, as Director, strategic planning.

A well-known and respected adman in Hyderabad market, Rao served as Vice-President with BBDO Worldwide Advertising Group in India for six years, in the late 80s and early 90s. He also successfully established network agency offices and was the prime force in Group achieving the highest growth rate in new businesses. He then moved to DDB Worldwide in a similar position in Saudi Arabia, leading its account strategy function for the Agency. He also successfully spearheaded the marketing communication programs for major brands like Frito-Lay, Sony, Clorox, Landmark retail group, Almarai Diary, etc.

He shifted course and joined Landmark Retail group in Dubai as Corporate Marketing Manager, playing a critical role in integrating the multi category retail operations into single point destination stores. He also launched the brand’s new identity, Centrepoint, across all GCC markets.

Later as Retail Marketing Head of Alghanim Industries, Kuwait, Rao spearheaded the establishment of marketing department and build a strong team. His innovative promotions to build customer traffic were reflected in the accelerated growth in sales volumes of Alghanim Industries.

A marketing and communications visionary, Rao brings to Breeze Advertising enormous proven experience in strategic brand management and market centric communication designs to build brands.
