Ashit Kukian becomes President – Sales at Radio City

Radio City announced on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 the elevation of Ashit Kukian to President-Sales. Prior to this, Kukian was the Executive Vice President and National Head – Sales, Radio City.

Kukian would now have to ensure maximisation across various verticals besides regular ‘Free Commercial Time’, Radio City Connect - a dedicated full spectrum activations cell providing end-to-end 360 degree brand marketing solutions along with monitoring the brand’s in-house Creative Client Solutions Cell and Planetradiocity.com. He will also work closely with his team to offer clients innovative brand solutions that would allow more effective use of radio as a medium.

He also aims to focus on the outsourced business module like Friends FM in Kolkata, and Suno lemon, Gwalior. Besides this, his focus will also be on identifying newer revenue opportunities for the group.

Kukian said, “In the current market scenario, it is imperative today to offer impactful options to the clients and to redefine the service levels, besides setting new benchmarks in the industry.”
